Hi All, I hope everyone is keeping safe, I can't believe it's been a full 10 months since our last blog, where has the time gone? We have been very busy over the last several months, so let me bring you up to date!

2021 has been another strange year, but a productive one at that. I attended several online trade shows but to be honest I'm not a fan of the virtual world! I long for the days of traditional trade shows. But that being said the trade shows have been a success!

Even with very little international travel we still managed to squeeze in a few tours (My tour guides were delighted) We carried out a number of walking tours at the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Carrick-a-rede Rope bridge, and we are please to say our guests felt extremely safe in our good to go environment. As you can see we've been flat out, in-between guiding and making my virtual appearances I even managed to deliver bespoke itineraries for national DMC's and tour operators, (Who says men can't...

Hello folks, I hope everyone is well? Welcome to our first blog of 2021. 2020 taught us a lot, we used this time to learn and expand our product offerings and target new markets in the hope international travel will soon return. (Everyone cross their fingers!)

This blog is a little different, we are starting off 2021 with the 'Causeway Guide', so grab a tea or a coffee or something stronger if its after 5pm and enjoy the read!

I do not like the modern terms used to describe what I do. 'Tour Guide' and 'Tourist Guide', to me they don't make sense nor do they pay respect to the origin of my trade. I prefer the simple term of 'Guide' simply because, in our history the folk that started this tradition in Ireland did so in the 18th century on the Giants Causeway in County Antrim, they were known as 'Guides'. So, if it was good enough for them it's good enough for me!
